International competition and exhibition EX-LIBRIS HILANDAR
103 artists from 15 countries sent us 221 ex-libris.
The Jury composed of:
Benoît Junod, Switzerland, ex-libris
collector,
deakon Nenad Ilic, editor of the ortodox
magazine Iskon,
Dr Caslav Ocic, ex-libris collector and
President of the BEC,
Prof. Rastko Ciric, graphic artist and
Secretary General of the BEC and
Michael Mitchel, Great Britain,
typographer and editor, selected works for the exhibition
and catalogue and awarded three official prizes.
The awarded artists are:
First prize (1000 DEM) - VLADIMIR ZUEV (Russia)
Second prize (600 DEM) - BOGDAN KRSIC (Yugoslavia)
Third prize (400 DEM) - IGOR KOTLOBULATOV (Ukraine)
| Twelve participants are mentioned, and their
work will be reproduced separately in the first
part of the catalogue. They are: Budimir Dimitrijevic (Yu), Bosiljka Kicevac (Yu), Miroslav Knap (Czesh Rep.), Ranka Lucic Jankovic (Yu), Yuri Nozdrin (Russia), Francesc Orenes (Spain), Yuri Orlov (Estonia), Ljiljana Stojanovic (Yu), Vladimir Cetkovic (Yu), Pavel Canji (Yu) and Mirjana Ciplic Kuruzovic (Yu). |
| The exhibition EX-LIBRIS HILANDAR will take place at the Graficki Kolektiv Gallery in Belgrade, 18th of January 1999. The prizegiving ceremony with official and unofficial prizes amongst which the award for children ex-libris given by the Organization Children of Serbia, the award of the Novi Beograd Community, the award of the Faculty of Applied Arts, Belgrade and the Belgrade Ex-libris Circle award) will be held at the same Gallery, on the 27th of January, the St. Savacs Day. To all the participants will be sent the catalogue of the exhibition. |
